What
is the difference between web design and
web development?
In simple
terms, web development is an extension of
web design by using different technologies
to build more applications on a web-based
platform. Let us use an example. Company
A created a web site in order to advertise
information about its services. Then company
A could settle with web design. Company
B created a web site in order to sell its
services by allowing users to order online.
It also automated the whole procedure. Company
B would need web development in order to
build its web site. Web development may
also involve a database back end.
What
technologies does Webservio work with?
Webservio
has experience in a variety of platforms.
We do not restrict our development to a
particular language. Our team is well-versed
in VB.NET, C#, ColdFusion, and PHP. Our
main database experience is in SQL2000 and
MySQL.
Do
I have to host my web site/application with
Webservio?
No. We
do not require our clients to host with
us. We do, however, recommend that our engineers
set up your hosting because of the familiarity
our team will have with the application.
Our development does not use proprietary
systems, and therefore you have the choice
to host where you desire.
