- MX Record
- Resource record in DNS (domain name system) specifying how email
should be routed. The MX record points to the servers that should
receive email and their priority to each other.
- MX Record Redundancy
- Multiple MX records with different priorites used as an effective tool for obscuring your primary MX record from the outside world. This practice keeps your primary mail server safe from malicious attacks.
